Harbour by night
we arrive on a sunday at 1500. liberty was called at 1800, but lo and behold, we were anchored out so we have to take the speed boat just to get to the pier. first night out was to go to wanchai to this filipino restaurant (how ironic noh, filipino food in hong kong
– but food was yummy). checked out some girly bars (i’ve never seen so many buy-me-drink girls, as such. but go figured, it was sunday when we got there).

dinner with the flip side
the next day was spent at the ocean park…it was a disaster. don’t get me wrong, the place was nice but it was more like a mandatory fun for us. i was forced to sign up for that tour, hehe. it was scorching hot on that day, now that made it worse. i was sweating the whole time that explains – me stripping down to my tank top (eeeeewww).

the next day was duty day for me, so no lakwatsa
wednesday – the most awaited day! bukil is arriving from pinas…my lakwatsa buddy, hehehe. i got to the central station at 0900. her flight arrives at 1000. i took the airport express, i braved myself on this one (no details here, sorry). i was tired, starving and worried that buks might get there before me. i had time to spare when i finally got there, so i had the chance to grab a breakfast. she made it to hong kong, it was her first time to ever ride a plane. we stayed at ramada hotel in kowloon. our room was really nice, especially the bathroom
. our reservation was for three days and two nights, but we barely stayed there.

Ramada Hotel
we were out the whole time, hopping from one train to another. we’ve been to all places noted on our tour guide book except for disneyland. i wasn’t excited for it, sorry buks
. our octopus cards were abused, hehe. all kinds of transportation too – taxi, regular bus, double-decker bus, train and ferry. below are some pictures:
