i’m on the upper-scale of my materialistic state of mind!

…just let me be :o )

for a friend.  just found out that her husband is cheating on her…with another friend. this is bull***t.  if only i can be there with her right now and we’ll chase these bastards to hell.  hang in there — this too shall pass and you’ll triumph over this.  (((hugs)))

this is not regarding my previous post :D .  i’m actually talking about the movie, finally…had the chance to watched,  james finally agreed to watch it with me.  he’s not into girly movies (duh).  the last girly movie we watched together was the 27 dresses.  after so much persuasion, he said yes.  the movie is been out for two weeks, so i was afraid it’s just the two of us watching it.  but there were actually few people watched it with us, whew.  james can relate with few scenes in the movie, he would throw some glances at me or would sometimes poke me on the side when he sees some very similar moment, hahaha.  that night, the purse that i had was quite big.  prior going to the movie, we had to put gas on james’ car and we passed by mcdonald.  their swiss, mushroom, onion quarter pounder is to die for.  i had it yesterday and i just can’t get enough of it, it was really that good.  well, anything with mushroom and cheese for me is good, i’m a sucker for this combination.  we had two of those for to-go, and sits comfortably in my purse so we can take it at the movie (no outside food allowed…or so they say lol). i had ranch dipping sauce with it too…my killer combination.  ranch is my sauce for everything (pizza, fries, chicken, mozzarella sticks).  james knew i enjoyed the sandwich…he knew because i didn’t offer him some, bwahaha.  for any sandwiches, i would eat at least half and give the rest to him.  but not this time, and he noticed that.  what completed the night, a cheesecake coldstone ice cream with brownie.  full was understatement :D .  we always get coldstone after movie because that is the last stall before the parking lot.  i always look forward to that too because that’s the only time that we will get one.  james and i are spontaneous with a lot of things that we do together.  so i guess though we were so full that night, we still managed to gulped the love-it-size :D  i would still consider it a great night sans the ice cream.  it was an awesome night indeed…

good movie,

good food,

good company!

i think i have a ‘clearance’ and ‘sale’ syndrome, lol. have you ever had the feeling of excitement knowing that your favorite store is having a sale or new mark-down clearance? i was rushing to get out of class yesterday just to go to my favorite store. and the 10 minutes drive seems like forever. i was imagining the store while driving. it was lunch time when i got a call from one of the associates that they’re having a new markdown clearance sale. i couldn’t contain myself from excitement. i told her right away that ‘yes, i’ll be there as soon as my class is done’, hee. i bought this one nice shirt like two weeks ago for 50% off and i wanted to buy the other color but when i came back few days after, it was gone…all colors. but when i got there yesterday, lo and behold, they had another color and it was on sale for 70% off. i felt good for having it in another color, moreso for the additional discount…$17.40. the thing is, i don’t buy regular price items, never (aside from food). everything from linens, bathroom accessories, kitchen items, shoes, bags, especially clothes. when i go to the store, i go straight to the clearance items. even online shopping, clearance. and it must be at least 50% off haha.  that’s just when it comes to myself, i get generous sometimes especially to james and my family.  guilt feeling is less when it’s on sale or clearance, haha.

it’s friday and I DON’T HAVE DUTY!!!

lusting for this one:

sprouse neverfull mm

just can’t justify it, darn.  for now, it’ll be on my wish list and in my dreams.  an impossible dream at that, hee.

***a damier will do, though.

may the simple  joys of the season fills your home and hearts with happiness.

happy holidays from my family to yours!

Harbour by night

Harbour by night

we arrive on a sunday at 1500.  liberty was called at 1800, but lo and behold, we were anchored out so we have to take the speed boat just to get to the pier.  first night out was to go to wanchai to this filipino restaurant (how ironic noh, filipino food in hong kong :D – but food was yummy).  checked out some girly bars (i’ve never seen so many buy-me-drink girls, as such.  but go figured, it was sunday when we got there).

D

dinner with the flip side :D

the next day was spent at the ocean park…it was a disaster.  don’t get me wrong, the place was nice but it was more like a mandatory fun for us.  i was forced to sign up for that tour, hehe.  it was scorching hot on that day, now that made it worse.  i was sweating the whole time that explains – me stripping down to my tank top (eeeeewww).

wednesday – the most awaited day!  bukil is arriving from pinas…my lakwatsa buddy, hehehe.  i got to the central station at 0900.  her flight arrives at 1000.  i took the airport express, i braved myself on this one (no details here, sorry).  i was tired, starving and worried that buks might get there before me.  i had time to spare when i finally got there, so i had the chance to grab a breakfast.  she made it to hong kong, it was her first time to ever ride a plane.  we stayed at ramada hotel in kowloon.  our room was really nice, especially the bathroom :D .  our reservation was for three days and two nights, but we barely stayed there.

mindless chatters…i’m bored :-o

i’m home alone!!!

over the course of almost a month of sailing, i have lost 11 pounds…yes, E-L-E-V-E-N pounds.  albeit the rice for sushi, curry and beef bowl and the different pastries that japan offers.  liberty calls means miles of walking, going through alleys for yakitoris, floors and floors of hundred-yen stores and convenience stores that offers varieties of yummy drinks and snacks.  i have lived for four years in japan before.  during these recent ten days visit, memories came rushing back to me.  i missed it so bad…that i wouldn’t mind going back again, and again and again.  food may prevail but that’s not what it’s all about…i miss the custom, surroundings, the experience and the people.  i had wish to stay longer, if only james is not waiting for me back home…i wished he was with me to experience it all over again.  going back to the weight loss :-D , it was from regular (read: daily) exercise, no rice during underway ( they only served uncle ben’s rice, i heart jasmin rice), fruits for breakfast and salad for lunch.  that’s not all to it…sailing means sea-sick, that spells out P-U-K-I-N-G the entire time on our way back to guam :-( .  i am now officially a green-goblin…bwahahaha!  i know as soon as i set my foot home, i’m gaining it all back.  syutik,  i hope discipline comes in handy when i need it most :D .

for crying out loud, weeks have passed since my last ‘mediatation’ on this blog…and still no updates.  i cannot promise myself to update this more often…because i know for sure it’s not happening.  i miss my blogspot adrenalin, where i used to post at least 4 times a week.  things have been changing a lot, that deserve a spot on this blog i believed.  but it never made it here.  special occasions have passed, we’ve moved, i bought and lose some stuff, but i was stale as a fish…no posts.  let me just try my best to document most of it, to my benefit of course.  ciao, bella!!!
